We tend to use old tools and mindsets to solve today’s problems. We expect the same people who are great to manage a big P/L to have the experience to build a new business. And when we fail we accept the lost of our resources, because statistics say that only 90% of the projects succeed.
There must be a better way.
Regardless the size of the parent company, my best work happens when we are building something new.
Either it is a new business, a venture, a small or big project.
I work with the primary job of reducing the uncertainty about the future. In other words, I plan to learn.
Working with non-traditional ideas and framing them as familiar concepts are my expertise.

The ability of identifying patterns and set delightful storyboards it's one of the skills I find highly in demand. The art of storytelling allows me to gasp the viewer's perspective, therefore I can communicate more effectively.
Strategy is just a commitment to a plan that has the best odds of being successful.
At its core it is the shift in the unit of analysis. Instead of asking what products customers want to buy, I ask what are the fundamental problems customers hope to address. Recently, in a project, after one week of interviews I discovered that men students of a dance school weren't there to learn how to dance, but to loose the shyness they felt when talking to women. The dance lessons should then be more rotative and let some space to the social dimension. That insight had tremendous impact on the developed strategy.
It is the job, and not the customer, the fundamental unit of analysis.
